Elina Brotherus
What If?
With a focus on creating new work, Elina Brotherus is conducting a masterclass with hands-on shooting sessions, individual assignments and group discussions. The idea is to present an intimate environment and to gather a group of artist that can artistically complement and inspire each other.
The internationally acclaimed artist Elina Brotherus (born 1972), lives and works in Finland and France, and is currently one of the most prominent contemporary artists from the Nordic countries. Since her breakthrough in the late 1990s, her work has been included in exhibitions internationally. Elina Brotherus investigates the individual’s relationship with their environment, in both interior and landscape studies. She deals with time and space in intimate and meticulous observations of the outside world.
